Pacquiao over Mosley by late-round TKO - Prediction

Boxing at the 1990 mid-Los Angeles was the place to be, and I was lucky to have this unique assignment for the Los Angeles Times.

Oscar De La Hoya, of course, was back Olympic gold in Barcelona and has been running his way to the top of the tent, he never left.

Genaro Hernandez was already a champion, with De La Hoya camp circle calling Hernandez and De La Hoya first truly fathom.

Ruelas brothers were on the verge of securities, and De La Hoya vs. Rafael Ruelas was one of the great Vegas / Events I've ever heard.

Not a great fight (De La Hoya by crushing KO at Caesars Palace), but just a live event thread for all those who knew scene in LA and I knew these camps as well.

But these days the mid-90s, the local fighter, I always thought was the quickest hands and stronger spirit was Shane Mosley of Pomona, who was in his 20s then, and his career was a bit 'slow start his professional career.

Mosley was impressive amazing a great guy, still a good guy.

And even more, was one of the great sparrers that time has a nose that broke brutal sparring sessions Genaro Hernandez just before fighting De La Hoya.

Mosley wants to just get in the ring, however, that it wishes, and detonated.

Maybe he has aged, this feature is good, but about 20 years, which could lead to a busy gym and partners in the ring and there are opportunities were Shane, throwing someone skin.

Which is an incredibly long way for me to say that I probably will see tonight Mosley fight against Manny Pacquiao, and I wish Shane, but I cannot imagine winning?

And I can definitely see Mosley to get punched.

If we are talking about Mosley is 10 or 13 years ago, Pac Man fighting in his prime is 147 pounds, so it's a battle, possibly in an all-timer.

When the size difference, I think Mosley would be a very good chance to catch Pacquiao to clean a couple of times, perhaps enough to drop points.

(I would still like Pacquiao in a report in his-prime in the game its mortgage because of poor Shane: He was 0-4 against Vernon Forrest and Winky Wright with the last of those losses coming in the 2004th Pacquiao has no state like this and have blown through the best fighters of this era, except for Mayweather, and he can come later.)

But it is an imaginary battle. It is 2011, not 2000 or 1998, and Shane is 39 now, with a lot of mileage, he was fighting (and some who lost) and all training, build up, too.

I believe that Pacquiao, who is 32, has won this battle easily, probably late round TKO, in the same way you took care of Miguel Cotto, that would otherwise be defeated Mosley.

Pacquiao has not jumped through the welterweights moving up-by which he is so quick against older men, but was not in trouble against De La Hoya, Cotto, Clottey, and margaritas, and I do not think he'll get big problems against Mosley.

And Shane, even in his youth when he has better reflexes, could still get hit a few times he searched for his own big explosions.

Well, Pacquiao hit anyone. Everyone has struck. He does not throw combinations mass he used to throw a 126-to-135-pounds, because he has to be more careful in the greatest guy.

But Manny still in the hands of that hammer when he hits the guy, that guy knows the end of the fight, how long it lasts.

Pacquiao hit Shane. He's more in the form of Shane. He has more energy, and although this will tedder middle-of-the-ring exchange, Pacquiao may be better for it.

I will say Pacquiao TKO 11. Shane will be some electric moments can even stun once or twice Manny, Manny, but too in the end, as it always is.
